Fleet Air Arm Museum
This is one of the UKs largest museums dedicated to aircraft and other technology leaning towards that used in naval air combat. The museum is located inside the grounds of the Royal Naval Air Station at Yeovilton.
The museum consists of four hangars with many exhibits on display running through the advancement of the field from biplanes up to supersonic jet aircraft. Running right along one side of a hangar sits the first UK Concorde, a prototype to the commercial fleet, it has been on display since 1976.
Parking is free but there is an entrance charge to the museum exhibits. An external cafe site outside where you can watch current helicopter activity on the airfield with a snack.
