North Curry is a village on a slightly raised bit of land between the very low lying areas. Sitting between the major roads it's quiet. To the West is Creech St Michael and just northeast is The Willows and Wetlands Centre and beyond to Stoke St Gregory.
The centre of the village has a small shop, pub, village hall and memorial cross. Alongside is a small walled area called Queens Square Gardens.
Just to the North is the parish church. Dedicated to St Peter and St Paul, its quite a large one with an unusual octagon shaped tower and fine pipe organ inside. The church boasts a fine views to the North over the fields.
