Sutton Mallet is a collection of farms, just a handful of houses and a church.
The church is quite unusual but is not particularly old at 1829 although it is still listed. Without a congregation it is now redundant and cared for by the Churches Conservation Trust. Inside it has two old pianos and an odd arrangement of seating. Instead of pews in rows it has them in wooden cubicles with a door called box pews.
