Willow and Wetlands Centre

Link to map.

Between North Curry and Stoke St Gregory lies the Willow and Wetlands Centre.

The visitor centre combines a small selection of retail outlets with a museum of willow / withy products through the ages. It is run by the P.H. Coate and Son company who make willow products.

There is a cafe and a handful of shops devoted to home furnishings and fine art.

The museum has several extremely well presented galleries of willow products through time from baskets to more elaborate carriages with willow cabins.

The site also runs weaving courses and has made some walks around the local area more accessible.

Images relating to the centre can be found amongst those of Stoke St Gregory.
